Teena’s passion for birth and midwifery began with the birth of her own two (now adult) children. She has now been sharing the journey of women birthing their babies as a midwife since 2006. From the very beginning of her midwifery career, Teena has believed in the importance of one midwife caring for women throughout the whole journey of pregnancy, birth and into parenthood. Developing a trusting, caring, supportive relationship, that provides women with the confidence in their body to birth their baby safely.

 

Teena believes having a baby is a very special life event and she feels it’s an absolute privilege to partner women and their families through the transition to parenthood. She is passionate about providing women centred, individualized care, through pregnancy, labour, birth and the postpartum.
