Pregnancy care: Visits will be attended in our Midwifery clinics (Hawkesbury based), by your known Midwife, and typically last 1 hour whist we attend clinical checks and investigations (may include ordering/reviewing pathology &ultrasounds). A particular focus is placed upon education and sharing resources, our Midwives have an extensive lending library of books/DVDs for our clients to borrow along the journey. You will also have appointments with your known second Midwife.

Birth care: Depending on your chosen place for birth, this may be your home, or a hospital. Your second Midwife will also attend for the birth of your baby. Your Midwives carry all the necessary emergency equipment to manage unexpected outcomes during a planned homebirth. Should a transfer from a planned homebirth become necessary, your Midwife will facilitate and accompany you during the transfer.
Postnatal care: Your Midwife will visit you daily for the first 4 days following your birth, and then again at the 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks. Your Midwife remains available to you during this 6 week period should you have any questions or concerns
Lactation Consultation (IBCLC): Emma is available for lactation consults also.
